By accessing or using BorderGuide, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
BorderGuide is a relocation intelligence platform that provides information, AI-assisted planning, and guidance to individuals exploring international relocation. Our Service includes:
- Country and city relocation insights, including visa requirements, cost of living, and climate information
- AI-powered relocation planning assistance
- Subscription-based premium features for in-depth guidance
- Document storage and trip planning tools
Information provided through the Service is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, or immigration advice.
3. Subscriptions and in-app purchases
BorderGuide offers auto-renewable subscriptions that provide access to premium features. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
- Subscription length and price: The subscription period and applicable price are displayed in the app at the time of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
- Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. You can manage or cancel through your Apple ID account settings.
- Refunds: Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple’s standard refund policy.
Apple In-App Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.
4. User accounts
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activities that occur under your account. Notify us promptly if you discover unauthorised account use.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Transmit unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or related systems
- Restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use or enjoyment of the Service
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or resell any part of the Service without written permission
6. Intellectual property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service—including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software—are owned by BorderGuide and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Relocation information is general guidance; always verify requirements with official government sources.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BorderGuide shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
